The Recruitment personnel of the New Jersey State Police are geared up to begin the next testing and selection process for candidates to compete to become a Trooper. The Recruitment Unit has special information sessions scheduled for Tuesday, February 26, 2019 (7 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.); Wednesday, March 20, 2019 (7 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.); and Wednesday, April 10, 2019 (7 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.). PREP CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED AND EARLY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE! 2019 NJ LEE UPDATE:  The New Jersey Civil Service Commission is expected to announce the long-awaited statewide Law Enforcement Exam known as the LEE on July 1, 2019. The exam has only been offered every three years, so serious candidates need to stay aware of the application period and look to reserve their seat in the CCS Test Prep® program. The schedule of courses for the 2019 LEE is below. Stamler Police Academy has announced the application period for candidates wishing to compete for a slot in the police academy through the "Alternate Route Program." Bergen County "Alternate Route Program" Exam Announced: The staff at the Bergen County Police Academy announced the application period for candidates wishing to compete for a slot in the police academy through the "Alternate Route Program." This is a tremendous opportunity for those who desire a career in law enforcement. The process is EXTREMELY competitive and begins with the administration of a very competitive written exam (scored) on Monday, March 11, 2019, followed by a physical agility assessment (scored) on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, and an oral panel interview (scored) in April. MASSACHUSETTS Municipal Police and MBTA Police Entry-Level Police Examination Preparation COURSE REGISTRATION is NOW AVAILABLE! The State of Massachusetts has begun the application period for candidates to complete the online process of applying to sit for the 2024 Municipal and MBTA (state-wide) Police Exam. Candidates can apply at Exam Application Portal (Click Here). The Massachusetts application period closes on January 16, 2024 (extended to March 30, 2024 w/ late fee) and the actual Police Officer Exam is scheduled to be administered from Saturday, March 16, 2024 to March 30, 2024.
