The Abington Township Civil Service Commission (PA) is once again accepting online applications for the March 16, 2019, administration of the Entry-Level Police Officer Examination. The deadline for online applications is set for Friday, February 22, 2019 at 12 p.m. The open-competitive exam is open to United States Citizens 21 years of age and older. While hundreds of candidates will test for the Abington Township Police Department on March 16th, only the top 180 test scores will go on to the Physical Agility Assessment. Candidates interested in preparing for the exam should register for the actual exam with Abington Township, then enroll in the CCS Test Prep® Program.
The Abington Township Civil Service Commission has contracted a private vendor (I/O Solution – IOS) to administer the NCJOSI v2 which has proven to be the single most difficult law enforcement entry-level examination being used today. It is known that 40% to 60% of candidates who actually sit for the exam “fail” the exam. Of those who are fortunate enough to pass, the vast majority achieve very low scores that just make the cut line.
The exam is open to non-residents (U.S. citizens) who will be at least 21 years of age on or before February 22, 2019.
The CCS Test Prep® Course is set for the Abington (PA) Township Police Department entry-level police officer exam.
Starting March 1, 2019, candidates who register for the CCS Test Prep® Program will be provided access to an online learning platform which Chief David A. Paprota, Ed.D. (Ret.) designed to focus each candidate on the specific information and strategies necessary to excel on the very challenging exam. The program is available to students 24/7 up to the day of the exam.
Course Tuition: $395.00 (Early Registration Rate)
* Beginning Feb 15th, the rate will go up $450.00 *
