The CCS Test Prep® Online Program

The program begins with online access to the Part 1 Cognitive (Written Abilities) Course in addition to a course binder being shipped out via UPS. Much of what is in the course binder is also in Part 1 of the online program, but the binder gives students the ability to complete pencil-to-paper practice exercises separate from the online program. The online program includes informational videos, webpage content, some printable PDFs (some digital copies from binder content), and most importantly, online quizzes with immediate scoring and answer guides.

The Part 2 Trait Assessment Course was added to the online program 14 days before the actual exam.

In 2019, the CCS Test Prep® Program consisted of a two-day, in-person seminar that focused on each aspect of the competitive exam. Chief David A. Paprota, Ed.D. (Ret.) also provided students with access to the CCS Test Prep® Online Learning Platform during the days leading immediately up to the actual exam on June 15, 2019. Students were able to easily reinforce their knowledge of prior studies by taking instantly scored short practice quizzes (over and over). It was evident that students benefitted tremendously from the online program, as they had the opportunity to work to 100% proficiency in each tested area. As such, the 2023 CCS Test Prep® full course will now be offered as an online program with students having 24/7 access to study at their convenience to work to 100% proficiency before test day!

This program and approach is very effective, as serious students can truly refine their skills and excel on the test. Passing is not good enough; it is critical to score extremely high in this very competitive process.
