The NJSP completed an online application period for their 2024 testing and selection process for entry-level trooper candidates. Candidates interested in applying to the NJSP must have applied via https://nj.gov/njsp/recruiting/how-to-apply.shtml by Friday, May 3, 2024.
Those candidates interested in preparing for the written testing can now complete the registration for the CCS Test Prep® Online Program. Students train via the CCS Test Prep® Online Learning Platform with 24/7 access to study at their convenience beginning within 12 hours of the submission of the course registration and continue with 24/7 access up to the student’s actual chosen test date between May 20, 2024 to June 3, 2024.

The New Jersey State Police (NJSP) opened their application period on Monday, May 18, 2024 for another open-competitive testing cycle. The online application period closed on Friday, May 3, 2024. Candidates who applied are required to complete the physical assessment on their assigned date in May. For those who pass the PQT, each will have the opportunity to select a written testing date as they are available between May 20, 2024 to June 3, 2024.
