The Nassau County Civil Service Commission announced the Nassau County Police Officer Exam and opened their online application portal with a closing date for applications extended to Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Nassau County is no longer using their old exam and has switched to the computer-based version of the three-part LEAB for the upcoming cycle. The Barnegat Twp Police Department (Ocean County - NJ) has opened the application period via PoliceApp.com with the deadline for applications set as Friday, October 13, 2023. The competitive written exam is scheduled for Thursday, October 26, 2023. Other important dates include: Physical Agility Testing on Thursday, October 19, 2023 and Oral Interviews during the week of November 13th, 2023. UPDATE: The next NJ LEE Testing Cycle is expected to be announced in March of 2024 with online applications open for a one month period.
