The Nassau County Civil Service Commission announced the Nassau County Police Officer Exam and opened their online application portal with a closing date for applications extended to Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
Nassau County is no longer using their old exam and has switched to the computer-based version of the three-part LEAB for the upcoming cycle. You will be glad to know that CCS Test Prep® has successfully prepared thousands of candidates from all around the country for the new exam with exceptional results. With this particular type of exam, candidates should strive for a 99+ score.
The actual exam is scheduled to be administered on multiple dates from Friday, January 5, 2024 through Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Each candidate who properly applied for the exam now has the opportunity to go to their account on the Nassau County Civil Service website and select one of the following available test dates:
- Friday, January 5, 2024
- Saturday, January 6, 2024
- Sunday, January 7, 2024
- Monday, January 8, 2024
- Tuesday, January 9, 2024
- Wednesday, January 10, 2024
The formal registration for the CCS Test Prep® Online Preparation Program for the 2024 Nassau County Police Officer Exam is now open as well. The fee for this training program is $395.

The online prep program is as follows:
Registered students will be shipped (via UPS) a study binder, so the student can complete practice exercises independent of having 24/7 access to the online learning platform. The practice binder can be completed separate from the online program.
The 24/7 access to the CCS Test Prep® Online Learning Platform will begin Friday, December 1, 2023 with the student having more than 30 days study at his or her convenience. The program consists of three distinct parts (as does the actual test). The separate parts will be phased in as the program progresses. The actual exam is expected to be administered in a computer-based format, so through the CCS Test Prep® online program, students will become proficient in each aspect of the test while also gaining a much needed comfort level in completing test questions online.
