The officials in Tewksbury Township have contracted with the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) for the administration of the exam. The exam is actually produced and scored by a private vendor (I/O Solution – IOS). The exam has proven to be a very challenging law enforcement entry-level examination. It is known that 50% of candidates who actually sit for the exam “fail” to receive an acceptable score to remain in the process. Of those who are fortunate enough to pass, the vast majority achieve very low scores that just make the cut line.
