The Nassau County (NY) Police Department entry-level police exam is coming soon in 2023. This testing cycle is extremely competitive, as it only comes once every 4 years and the exam is critically scored.
The Nassau County Civil Service Commission online application process will open in the coming months.

The CCS Test Prep® Online Learning Platform allows for serious students to study at their convenience for a 20-day period. This extended timeframe allows students to employ the essential strategy of reinforcement through repetition.
It’s all about working to 100% proficiency and understanding of every aspect of the exam. The exam involves a unique cognitive component, trait assessment, and biodata assessment. This exam and the necessary approach to score high differs from other police exams currently being used throughout the country. Therefore, candidates must gain an accurate understanding of each unique part of the test.

Pre-Registration
CCS Test Prep® is offering serious candidates the opportunity to PRE-REGISTER for the prep program (info at www.ccstest.com/Nassau/). CCS Test Prep® will only be accepting a limited number of students in this program. The pre-registration gives those who are seriously interested the opportunity to reserve a slot. The course fee ($395.00) will NOT be paid until the time that the formal registration portal is open for this prep program. Paying the fee for the course will not occur until the actual formal application process opens for the actual exam. Again, this pre-registration is designed to allow candidates the opportunity to reserve a slot to be able to formally register for the CCS Test Prep® program at a later date.
As others have learned in the past, when the registration for a CCS Test Prep® closes out, no further students are accepted, so early registration is important.
