Union County Alternate Route Program – John H. Stamler Police Academy

Candidates who register for the CCS Test Prep® program for the 2019 Union County Alternate Route Exam will begin their training on March 2, 2019. Candidates will begin by utilizing the CCS Test Prep® Online Learning Platform with 24/7 access through to the time of the actual exam following a in-class Testing and Review Session. On Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., students will have the special opportunity to attend an in-class formal testing and review session at The Kenilworth Hotel (Union County) with Chief David A. Paprota, Ed.D. (Ret.). While attending this session is part of the program, it is not mandatory but is highly recommended.

Candidates who can not make the session, can make special arrangements with Chief Paprota to attend the Bergen County session on Sunday, March 3, 2019.

At the in-class session, students will have the opportunity to sit for a formal exam which will be Scantron™ scored and run through Dr. Paprota’s scoring software to produce a properly weighted score, so each student knows his or her personal strengths and weaknesses going into the remainder of his or her studies. Each student also will receive a detailed scoring report as part of the program.

After the in-class session, the  CCS Test Prep® Online Learning Platform allows students to reinforce their knowledge and understanding all of the way up to the time of the actual test on March 18, 2019.
