The officials of the Barnegat Township Police Department in Ocean County (NJ) have announced an open application period via PoliceApp.com for their written testing and selection process through Friday, June 19, 2026. Candidates who properly applied, were required to first pass a physical fitness assessment which was scheduled to be administered on Thursday, June 25, 2026 (9 am) prior to being eligible to sit for the written exam. Only those applicants who passed the physical fitness assessment were invited by the police department officials to sit for the written examination scheduled for Monday, June 29, 2026.
