NOTE: The exam cycle administered for the Police Academy Alternate Route Program in Camden County is a very competitive exam cycle.
The Camden County Police Academy utilizes the NJ Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) exam services consisting of the I/O Solutions (IOS) National Criminal Justice Officer Selection Inventory (NCJOSI™) written exam series. The 2.5 hour IOS NCJOSI-I v2 is a 200 question assessment that is very critically scored and has proven to be very challenging as a competitive instrument. This is the exam that 40% to 60% of testing candidates tend to fail. Of the candidates who have passed the exam, most take the exam over and over without ever achieving a sufficiently adequate score to be considered in any of the selection processes for which the exam series is utilized. Skill development is absolutely essential to scoring high on the exam!

CCS Test Prep® utilizes the most contemporary and sophisticated technology to enhance the learning experience of each student. Exams are formally scored utilizing sophisticated Scantron scoring equipment and a proprietary software-based scoring system developed by Dr. Paprota. This allows for the production of an individualized scoring report for each student. CCS Test Prep® students receive an individualized scoring report for both a Preliminary Diagnostic Examination administered at the beginning of the program as well as for the formal, Final Examination administered at the conclusion of the program. As a result, each student is keenly aware of his or her strengths and weaknesses to better guide the student’s studies as he or she prepares for the actual examination. This important aspect of the course further enhances the learning experience provided through the well-developed instruction, visual presentations, very focused course materials, and practice examinations.
