NOTE: The exam cycle administered for the Police Academy Alternate Route Program in Camden County is an extremely competitive exam cycle.

Through April of 2018, the Camden County Police Academy has utilized the NJ Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) exam services consisting of the I/O Solutions (IOS) National Criminal Justice Officer Selection Inventory (NCJOSI™) written exam series. The 2.5 hour IOS NCJOSI-I v2 is a 200 question assessment that is very critically scored and has proven to be very challenging as a competitive instrument. This is the exam that 40% to 60% of testing candidates tend to fail. Of the candidates who have passed the exam, most take the exam over and over without ever achieving a sufficiently adequate score to be considered in any of the selection processes for which the exam series is utilized. Skill development is absolutely essential to scoring high on the exam!

The Camden County College Police Academy has closed the Alternate Route Program exam application period as of 3/30/2018 after receiving the maximum of 160 applications. CLICK HERE to see the Camden County announcement and application procedures. The actual competitive exam will be administered by the academy on April 21st, 2018. As you can see above, the training program is specifically scheduled to prepare students right up to test day.

This allows for the production of an individualized scoring report for each student. CCS Test Prep® students receive an individualized scoring report for both a Preliminary Diagnostic Examination administered at the beginning of the program as well as for the formal, Final Examination administered at the conclusion of the program. As a result, each student is keenly aware of his or her strengths and weaknesses to better guide the student’s studies as he or she prepares for the actual examination.
