The South Brunswick Police Department in Middlesex County (NJ) has announced a formal application process for entry-level police officer testing with interested candidates being required to apply via www.PoliceApp.com by the application closing date of September 30, 2026. The South Brunswick Police Department is administering a physical assessment for all applicants on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The written exam is scheduled to be administered on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Serious candidates register for the CCS Test Prep® online training program to properly prepare for the written exam. Students who register for the written exam preparation will be provided 24/7 access to the CCS Test Prep® Online Learning Platform beginning Sunday, October 4, 2026. Students will train on the CCS Test Prep® Online Learning Platform beginning Sunday, October 4, 2026 with 24/7 access up to the time of the actual exam.
The Township of South Brunswick contracts with the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) for the administration of the exam. The exam is actually produced and scored by a private vendor (I/O Solution – IOS). The exam is the NCJOSIv2 which has proven to be a very competitive and challenging exam for police candidates.
