The NJSP online application period for the 2025 written testing and selection process for entry-level trooper candidates is open through Sunday, May 4, 2025. Candidates who are interested in applying to the NJSP must apply via https://njsp.njoag.gov/recruiting/application-process/ by Sunday, May 4, 2025.
Those candidates interested in preparing for the written testing can now complete the registration for the CCS Test Prep® Online Program. Students train via the CCS Test Prep® Online Learning Platform with 24/7 access to study at their convenience beginning 20 days before the student’s written test date. Once opened, access to the learning platform continues with 24/7 access up to the student’s actual chosen test date. The NJSP written testing is expected to be facilitated between May 27, 2025 to June 6, 2025.

The New Jersey State Police (NJSP) opened their application period for another open-competitive testing cycle with a closing date for applications set as May 4, 2025. Candidates who apply are required to complete the physical assessment on their assigned date. The PQT assessments are scheduled to begin on May 10, 2025. For those who pass the PQT, each candidate will have the opportunity to select a written testing date with dates available between May 27, 2025 to June 6, 2025.
