Monmouth County Entry-Level Chief’s Exam Application Period has Begun! – CCS Test Prep® – January 12, 2018

Law Enforcement Examination - The Monmouth County Police Chiefs Association has announced the opening of the application period for the 2018/2019 entry-level law enforcement examination for Monmouth County. This is the non-civil service testing process for those participating departments not under the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. The exam is also utilized for the Monmouth County Alternate Route Program. Interested applicants can apply for this exam by going to the following link: Monmouth County Entry-Level Law Enforcement Exam. The fee being charged by the Monmouth County Chiefs Association to register for the written exam is set as $95. The application deadline is April 30th, 2018. Abington Township PD (PA) – Entry-Level Police Exam – Application (Online) Deadline is February 23, 2018 at 12 p.m.

The Abington Township Civil Service Commission (PA) is once again accepting online applications for the March 10, 2018, administration of the Entry-Level Police Officer Examination. The deadline for online applications is set for Friday, February 23, 2018. The open-competitive exam is open to United States Citizens 21 years of age and older. While hundreds of candidates will test for the Abington Township Police Department on March 10th, only the top 180 test scores will go on to the Physical Agility Assessment to be held on the Saturday,  March 24, 2018. Candidates interested in preparing for the exam should access (click) and complete the CCS Test Prep® Inquiry Form . The next New Jersey Law Enforcement Exam (LEE) should be offered as soon as this upcoming year. The New Jersey Civil Service Commission currently has the EB Jacobs company under contract to administer the Law Enforcement Aptitude Battery (LEAB™) as the New Jersey Civil Service Commission Law Enforcement Exam (LEE) during the calendar Year 2018. Assuming they stay on schedule, the upcoming exam announcement should open the application period July 1, 2018. Manchester Twp Police Dept (NJ) – Application period begins Monday, November 27, 2017

The Manchester Twp Police Department (NJ) has announced the opening of an application period beginning Monday, November 27, 2017. Only the first 250 applications will be accepted to the January 28, 2018, physical exam. The application deadline is January 25, 2018. All applications must be submitted in person along with all of the required supporting documentation as specified in the official announcement. The written examination will be administered on February 8, 2018, and will only be open to those who pass the physical exam including the "boxing phase." Anyone interested in preparing for the written examination with CCS Test Prep® must submit an advanced inquiry through the following link: CLICK HERE. Nassau County, NY – Entry-Level Police Exam – Application (Online) Deadline is December 5, 2017

The Nassau County (NY) Civil Service Commission is once again accepting online applications for the January of 2018 administration of the Entry-Level Police Officer Examination. The application deadline is set for Tuesday, December 5, 2017, and the administration of the examination is expected to begin on January 16, 2018. For more information CLICK HERE. The exam is open to non-residents (U.S. citizens) who will be at least 17 years of age by January 16, 2018, and the maximum age is set at 35. Up to 6 years military service can be deducted from a candidate's age to meet the maximum age limitation. Residency in at least contiguous counties, NY driver's license, and reaching the age of 21 is required by the time of appointment  as a police officer. UPDATE: The maximum of 80 candidates was met within days after the October 10, 2017, announcement. The application period for the Atlantic County Alternate Route Program (ARP) was closed well ahead of the announced November 22, 2017 deadline. Announcement: On October 10, 2017, the Atlantic County Police Academy opened the application period for candidates wishing to compete for a slot in the police academy through the "Alternate Route Program." This was a great opportunity for those who are working toward a career in law enforcement. The process is extremely competitive and begins with the administration of a competitive written exam (scored) followed by a physical agility assessment (pass/fail) and an oral interview (scored). New "Upcoming Tests!" Page Added to the CCS Test Prep® Website - For a new candidate, one of the most frustrating aspects of law enforcement testing is not knowing when jurisdictions announce an application period and testing cycle. There is currently no one method, source, or location for such announcements. While some agencies use the exceptional services provided by companies like PoliceApp.com or organizations like the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP), most agencies announce a short application period with very little fanfare or publicity. Many "ideal candidates" are unaware of the brief application periods offered until it is too late and the deadline for applications has passed. For this reason, Dr. David A.
